Cornish College - A College Collection

The modern, progressive, contemporary approach to the outdated notation of School Uniform – Cornish explains:

With a proud reputation for innovation and a strong belief in the capability of all students, we seek to honour student agency in every aspect of their schooling. Our new ‘uniform wardrobe’ recognises that all our young people can make informed and independent choices about what to wear to school each day.

Whilst they can choose their own combination of clothing, the wardrobe builds on the strong sense of belonging that Cornish College nurtures and offers a range of items that proudly identify students as part of our community.

The wardrobe includes some elements of tradition and formality for students who feel that is what suits them best, together with a range of casual and activewear choices to meet other preferences. There are no gender-specific requirements and students can choose from either tailored or relaxed fittings for some items. The range is trans-seasonal which means that items are no longer linked to particular times of the year and each item can be worn all year-around.

In keeping with the College’s values and underpinning ethos, we have utilised sustainable fabrics in key garments such as the polo shirt, shorts and trousers. We also acknowledge that this needs to be ‘in balance’ with affordability, wearability and durability.

Matthew Flinders Anglican College

Making history, Matthew Flinders Anglican College conducted their first uniform redesign in the school’s 30 years history. The new uniform upholds the college’s commitment to excellence in learning and life whilst also giving students more choice to suit their style, activity levels and comfort.

OnTrack Sportswear worked closely with the college to update the designs of their active school wear and upgraded their garments to the latest innovations. The active school wear is throughout the entire prep to year 12 uniform range and is apparent in the PE, sports and the general uniform showcasing flexibility.

A notable mention is a working partnership with Matthew Flinders Anglican College and OnTrack Sportswear’s Northern Queensland representative Emma Lilwall. Building a solid working relationship created extraordinary outcomes for the College. We are proud to share the complete reference detailing Emma’s ability to go above and beyond for a client.

The OnTrack product is of the highest quality and their advanced fabric technology made our decision to work with them an easy one.

Methodist Ladies College

One of Australia’s leading girls’ schools, Methodist Ladies College (MLC), gradually redesigns its sports uniform. Tackling the revamp piece by piece, MLC will continually update their uniforms over the years to come allowing us to progressively supply uniform pieces with the latest designs and enhancements.

MLC’s main objective was to ensure that the students’ voices were heard throughout their design process. Working closely with a focus group of year 9 and 10 students over 14 months, OnTrack developed a new sport short for MLC advancing with the market shift in female active uniforms. This design process led to a brand-new product; The Dawn short. This innovation has led to the Dawn short being introduced to over 20 co-educational and girls’ schools across the nation. OnTrack’s ability to work closely with each customer has led to positive outcomes for the and students with forward-thinking products designed and shaped for today’s and tomorrow’s generation.
